In the late 1980s, ChungNam Group moved its traditional metal processing facilities from Hong Kong to Shenzhen, China. We established CNI Metal Business Unit, and ChungNam Precision Casing Company Ltd.(CNPC) was born from this. 

Since its establishment, CNPC has collaborated with high-end Swiss brands to produce precision watch components, such as metal watch cases and bracelets, as well as precision components for well-known mobile phone brands. We have also collaborated with several electric car companies to produce interior components and expanded into the semiconductor industry with domestic brands. In 2007, we established a partnership with a professional team from the UK to jointly establish the micro-arc oxidation (MAO ) team. Based on traditional MAO technology and continuous innovation and research and development, we successfully developed a new MAO technology. In 2020, we officially established CNPC Dongguan Branch in Changping, completing the sampling and mass production of MAO aluminum alloys and magnesium alloys, achieving a milestone in establishing an automated production line.
